iPhone 15 Series buying guide
Which iPhone 15 model
- iPhone 15: A16 chip, 6.1-inch screen with the Dynamic Island and a 48MP main camera. The best value in the series.
- iPhone 15 Plus: the same features with a 6.7-inch screen and longer battery life.
- iPhone 15 Pro: A17 Pro chip, titanium frame, Action button, 120Hz ProMotion screen and a 3x telephoto camera.
- iPhone 15 Pro Max: everything in the 15 Pro with a 6.7-inch screen and a 5x telephoto camera.
Apple Intelligence and USB-C
All four models charge with USB-C. Only the 15 Pro and 15 Pro Max support Apple Intelligence, and they also transfer files faster over USB-C when you use a USB 3 cable. If you just want a modern iPhone for everyday use, the standard 15 is enough.
What the grades mean
Excellent, Good and Fair only differ in how the outside looks. Every grade passes the same tests, has battery health of 80% or higher and gets the same 1-year warranty, which also covers accidental damage like a cracked screen or a drop.
