Who it's for
Good for
- One-handed reading, travel and field work
- Apple Pencil 2 for notes on a small screen
- USB-C and an all-screen 8.3-inch design
- Pilots, nurses and anyone who needs a small, fast iPad
Not for
- Apple Intelligence features (needs the A17 Pro mini)
- Typing-heavy work or a laptop replacement
Our verdict
The redesigned mini with USB-C and Apple Pencil 2. A big upgrade over the mini 5 in speed and screen; the A17 Pro version adds Apple Intelligence and more base storage.
