Who it's for
Good for
- The smallest, lightest MacBook Air for travel
- Writing, email and web
- USB-A ports and MagSafe 2, no dongles
Not for
- Photo or video editing
- Apps that need macOS 13 or later (tops out at macOS 12 Monterey)
- A big or sharp screen (11.6-inch, 1366x768)
Our verdict
A tiny laptop for travel and basic tasks. Easy to carry everywhere; if you want more screen for the same jobs, the 13-inch Air is the better daily machine.
